3rd International Workshop on Emerging Communication Technologies (WECT'14) entitled "Green Info-Communication Solutions", was held on 3rd October, 2014 in Budva in the frame of the Festival of Information Technology. Its concept has been set as a comprehensive platform for uniquely bringing together all aspects crucial for delivering directions and solutions in the area of innovative green ICT solutions. The invited speakers: Sibel Tombaz, PhD (Experienced Researcher Energy Performance, Ericsson Research, Stockholm, Sweden) and Prof. Symeon Papavasileiou ( National Technical University, Athens, Greece) , as well as the researchers of the Centre for Telecommunications, presented their ideas of possible solutions when it comes to energy consumption reduction of info- communication systems, focusing on optimization of various network parameters, network components, application of new network architectures, dynamic powersaving and/or harvesting energy.
