The Center for Telecommunications of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering organized an international workshop on future telecommunications technologies (Workshop on Emerging Communication Technologies-WECT) within the INFOFEST 2012th. The aim of the two-day workshop WECT 2012 is the interactive exchange of experiences and results of research centers gathered under renowned European universities with which the Centre cooperates in a number of international, bilateral or FP7 research projects. The workshop is a platform for identifying and formulating new scientific research initiatives and themes that will allow further quality positioning of the Centre for Telecommunications in the European Research Area.
